Mango Iced Tea
To celebrate the arrival of summer, I’m presenting to you this light, a refreshing and chilled recipe of Mango Iced Tea. Nothing tastes sweeter on a hot summer day than a glass of Mango Iced Tea. This recipe for mango iced tea is light and that only takes 5 minutes to make. Perfect sweet way to use fresh mangoes this mango season.
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS
4 cups of water
4 black tea bags (English breakfast tea)
1.5 cups of mango juice
sugar or honey to taste (optional)
1 cups of fresh mango slices (optional)
mint sprigs for garnish
METHOD:
- Bring the water to a boil; add the tea bags and steep for 3-5 minutes or until the desired level of strength.
- Stir in the mango juice. Add sugar or honey to taste if needed
- Pour the tea into a pitcher. Add the mango slices, reserving a few for garnish
- Chill the tea in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
- Stir in the mint right before serving.
- Pour into glasses with ice and garnish with reserved mango slices and mint sprigs if desired.
