Hi Foodies,
Welcome to my Food Blog. I am Trupti – a self-taught cook & baker, a wife, mother of two beautiful girls, a full-time working professional & founder of the blog http://www.myculinarysaga.com.
Born Coorgi, brought up in Pune and settled in Denmark, a lot of my culinary experiments have strong regional influences.
Why My Culinary Saga – Everyone loves food. I love food. I love to cook, read cookbooks, watch cooking shows. I am fascinated with food photography – though I have a long way to go. I’m not a professional chef, but when I’m not working, I’m in the kitchen cooking up something hearty. I love to entertain and have friends over.
For me though, cooking happened post marriage; moving to a small town in Denmark and no job. I had plenty of time to experiment with hobbies I had given up due to work pressures and a hectic lifestyle. Among others like painting, writing poetry, cooking was one of them – I don’t really know how I learnt it – probably just watching mom laboriously cook perfect looking meals. It wasn’t until I had my own kitchen did I realise how relaxing cooking was. But, baking is where my heart lies – That’s my therapy.
My passion for food has been a constant element in my life. This blog will follow that very passion for food.
For the last few years, I have been yearning to have a personal blog — a place to gather what inspires me, what helps me grow and also a place to play & experiment, to photograph and to tell stories. Finally, I can say that it’s here.
I know food blogging is serious business and my journey here will not be all sunshine. But my aim is to encourage my friends out there to enjoy the process of cooking as much as I do and try out some of my simple recipes.
My life motto is simple: Follow your dreams…
Happy Cooking!!
Trupti

You have an interesting blog. Are you still in Denmark? I relocated from Denmark to Spain 3½ years ago.
Irene
Hi Irene, thanks 🙂 yes I’m still in Denmark. Where were you living here?
I was born in Odense, but have been living in many places as east and south of Jutland, several places at Fyn and Copenhagen too.
Wow 🙂 I’m in Sonderborg
Then you live close to Germany. I have lived in many places by many reasons, but it helps to get more open-minded to see, what is going on in other places, than where we are born.
Very true Irene 🙂
